Foothills Senior Golf League

The Foothills Senior Golf League was formed to create a fun, informal environment where you can meet new friends and compete in an enjoyable and non stressful golf league. The intention is to provide a social and competitive atmosphere for the enjoyment of men and women senior golfers, aged 60 and older. All games are played at the Foothills Golf Course located at 3901 S. Carr Street, Denver CO, 80235.

There are 2 leagues, one league plays the Par 3 course on Mondays and the other league plays the Executive 9 course one Wednesdays.
Members can play in one or both leagues.

If you plan to join the FootHills Senior Golf league, you can register after Jan 1 2024. Please go to fhsgl.org for the registration link.
We request that you register as soon as possible after Jan 1. All registrations and payments must be in by May 1.
We communicate by email and notices placed on the fhsgl.org web site. Please come to the web site often and monitor you email for announcements!

There will be an orientation meeting this spring, April 20, 2024, time: 10am to 12pm, place: Peak Community and Wellness Center 6612 S Ward St, Littleton, CO.
Please plan to come to get info on any new process due to the Foothills course new tee time system.
We are asking for Members only to attend the Orientation meeting on April 20. This is due to limited space and fire department requirements. Thank you.

League History
The Par 3 Senior League was formed in 1992 at Foothills Golf Course in Denver, Colorado.
In 1993 the Executive 9 Senior League was formed.
Par 3 League Info
Par 3 league plays on Mondays.There are approximately 75 members in the Par 3 league.
Par 3 tee times run from 7am to approximately 10 am
There are multiple flights for men and multiple flights for women.
The cost to join the Par 3 league is $41.
Check with the pro shop for Green fees for the Par 3 course (303-409-2400).
Prize money is awarded for multiple places for each flight for men and women.
In case of a tie or ties in any flight or flights, the prize money will be split evenly amongst the winners.
Exec 9 league info
The Exec 9 league plays on Wednesdays.There are approximately 150 members in the Exec 9 league.
Exec 9 tee times run from 7am to approximately 1 pm.
There are multiple flights for men and multiple flights for women.
The cost to join the Exec 9 league is $46.
Check with the pro shop for Green fees for the Exec 9 course (303-409-2400).
Prize money is awarded for multiple places for each flight for men and women.
In case of a tie or ties in any flight or flights, the prize money will be split evenly amongst the winners.
Hole in 1 competition
There is a Hole in 1 competition for those interested in participating.
The annual cost is $1.00 for the Par 3 league and $1.00 for the Exec 9 league.
Only Those paying the fee are eligible to participate in the winnings disbursed at the end of the year to those making a hole in one.
If more than one person in a league makes a hole in one, the money is divided equally between the winners.
If no one in a league makes a hole in one, the money is held over for the next year
