Exec 9 League Regulations

Hole #1:

  • If the first shot lands in the water or tall weeds, on either side of the fairway, it is considered a hazard shot. Please do not look for the ball. The next shot must be hit from the drop zone. You are hitting 3 with this shot.
  • Any ball after the first shot that is hit into the water or tall weeds should be played as a ball hit into a hazard. Please follow procedures below for ball hit into hazard.
  • For a ball hit into a hazard after the first shot, the player must drop another ball within two (2) club lengths of the hazard line at the point where the ball last crossed the hazard line and no closer to the hole, keeping a line of sight from the point the ball entered the hazard and the flag. A Penalty of one (1) stroke is assessed.
  • There is no out of bounds on hole #1. It is only considered a hazard shot.

Hole #2:

  • If the first shot lands in the water on the left side of the fairway or tall weeds, or ditch in front of tee box, men, or beside the tee box, women, please do not look for the ball. Proceed to the drop zone and hit from there. Your are hitting 3 with this shot.
  • If the first shot goes out of bounds on the right side the fairway, men or women, the player must hit again from the teeing area. You are hitting 3 with this shot.
  • Any ball after the first shot hit into the water or weeds is played as a hazard shot. (See above for hazard shot). Any ball, after the first shot from the drop zone, hit out of bounds is hit from the same spot as when it was hit out of bounds. A penalty of one (1) stroke is assessed

Holes #3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9:

  • Out-of-bounds is marked by white stakes on left of fairway.
  • Any ball hit out of bounds from teeing ground must be replayed from teeing area. A one (1) stroke penalty is assessed. You are hitting 3 with your next shot from teeing area.
  • Any ball hit out of bounds from the fairway or rough area must be replayed as near as possible from the spot the ball was originally played. A one (1) stroke penalty is assessed. You are hitting four with your next shot
  • There is no out of bounds on right side of fairway on any of these holes. Any shots to the far right side of the fairway on these holes should be considered shots hit into a hazard, if they cannot be found and played. If they cannot be played, they should be played according to rules for hazard shots discussed above.
  • If you hit off the tee to the fairway, a good shot, and then hit the ball into a hazard, according to rules for hazard shots, you are hitting four with your next shot because you already had one good shot off the tee.
